Review: The media could not be loaded. I’m absolutely delighted with this bit of kit, it’s quiet, quick and easy to clean. I was a bit worried having read some of the reviews as I tend to only drink almond milk, but I followed the instructions to the letter and as you can see in my video I get the perfect latte froth with my alpro sugar free almond milk. I’m so pleased, it’s not a huge amount of milk in one go, to fill my “coffee cup to go” I do two 2/3 full of milk, but it’s super quick so no problem. Can’t wait to try making some hot chocolates for my kids with this! The machine works four ways. 1/You can heat milk totally flat, just stick it in the jug and press the button, 2/you can have frothy milk, take just the frother off the top and put it on the little insert in the jug, 3/ you can have latte style froth (as shown in my video) when you put both parts of the whisk attachment from the top on the insert (I was dubious it would work as it didn’t look like much of a whisk like that but it’s perfect). 4/ you can do either froth mode cold just choose your whisk and hold the button down a few seconds for bubbles with no heat. I found the “quick start instructions not detailed enough so just read the proper instruction book (hope that helps anyone who’s wondering!)

Review: Primary use is for frothing milk for cappuccinos. A single press of the button froths and heats but the end result is really quite poor - not much froth and a thin pour. Holding the button until it bleeps whisks the milk without heating, which produces the required effect: a dense crema, albeit cold. Following up with the heating programme retains most of the density for hot drinks. It would be better if the mixer was able to automatically combine cold premixing and subsequent heating phases without needing to initiate separate mixing
