Review: First impressions suggest these are above average, play quite loud and remain clean. Seems you can get them for 250 bucks in the states at Costco, so obviously not a premium product, but work well enough.

Review: I seriously considered sending these back, the sound out of the box was very disappointing for me. I realize sounds is subjective but as far as I was concerned, it was simply bad. I am no audiophile so I can't describe it well, the bass was just too strong and yeah, I know you can dial it down with the knob/remote but something was just off. That was not the biggest issue though, listening to videos online, everything sounded muffled, like it was lacking clarity - it sounded like people were talking through a glass panel. After some searching online, I found that you can modify how these speakers (or any speakers) sound with the help of an equalizer software. I've never had to do this before but I ended up downloading Equalizer APO and started playing with the frequencies and it honestly made a monumental difference, I now feel like they sound amazing I can enjoy listening to them. More importantly and am no longer regretting the purchase. So, if somehow these feel off to you, I suggest trying to mess with the frequencies until you get something you like. I will post a screenshot of my settings in case anyone cares to try it. Other than that, these look and feel premium, had no issue connecting them, I used Bluetooth but they come with a cable that you can plug into your PC sound-card or DAC if you have one. The cable connecting the sub to the speakers is kind of generic which was a bit meh. A final note, the box these came in was opened, the original tape was cut and Amazon branded tape was used instead over it which actually came off during transport. Clearly either I got a unit that someone sent back or that was tested/opened at some point, not exactly what you want to see when paying this much for speakers.
