Review: Nice little vacuum that's pretty lightweight, and has good suction power. Yes it's nowhere near my mains vacuum, but it would be foolish to expect comparable suction between this and a 1600W appliance! You could also mock the woeful battery life on turbo mode, but again you have to be realistic in your expectations. I've found that this has changed the vacuuming routine - it's so much quicker and easier to whip it out (oo-er missus) and do a quick bit of floor sucking that you can easily manage to job by doing a different area each day and sticking it back on charge. My only gripe is that the brush roller will hair-wrap quicker than buttered penguin on a waterslide, but the quick-release brush is removed in seconds to sort it out. Given the bargain price of this model I can heartily recommend it. I just wish the spare batteries were cheaper!

Review: First things first. On hard floors this works fine. It’s nice and light and easy to manoeuvre. But that’s pretty much where the positives end. I had to buy a second battery just to be able to vac the whole house in one go. It didn’t take much for the puppies to get clogged and me to spend ages digging food out of them. I spent as much time emptying this as I did using it. Oh - and you need good sized hands with a good grip to empty it. All in all, disappointing. After living with this for 14 months I’ve replaced it with a Shark. I vac’d yesterday so wasn’t expecting to pick up much dust today (there are only two of us in the house) but I’ve filled it already, which goes to show how poor the suction on this hoover is. I’ll keep the hoover for the kitchen and bathroom, but not for the carpets.
