Review: It works better than my old one which, although it was a famous brand, never really worked satisfactorily. It is a bit small for some slices but I cut them in half so no problem. Also it doesn't take up as much space as I thought. My old one was a 'slim-line' model and took up far more space. Altogether I am very pleased with it.

Review: some issues that irritate about this product, some design issues let it down. I wouldnt buy it again. - nice appearance let down by cheap plastic pulldown button. - the slot to let crumbs through to the bottom tray, really very narrow, so bigger crumbs stuck in bottom of toaster, and the crumbs/bread bits smoulder there next to electric wires. regularly have smoke/burning smell from the stuck crumbs. v hard to get them out. - the wire guard mesh very flimsy- so items lean to one side instead of being held straight in the toaster. crumpets scones lean too close to the heat and burn.
