Review: I used a bog standard recipe with this first time. I let it heat up and burn off any coating first (a tip someone gave me) I then let it cool down and used it later on. Once it was fully heated up and the light had gone off to show it was ready, I put in one soup ladle full and it worked really well. It spreads out so you don’t want it over full, just a big blob in the center that then squishes down to the sides. It took quite a while to cook so build in some time or have a warm oven to keep the stack warm if you want to eat together. We ended up doing a bit of a tag team. It was so easy to get them out though, a little poke and they all popped out. Nothing stuck at all! I was really pleased as I’d read other reviews and I was a bit concerned about that. The recipe I used had self raising flour, sugar, vanilla, milk, eggs and melted butter in it.

Review: You can't take the plates out so clean it whilst it's still warm! No fill line so the first time we used it, it spilt out EVERYWHERE! I would have thought that it would have come with a simple recipe book but no, nothing! Managed to get the mixture right on the 3rd or 4th attempt
