Review: The value for money is 4/5 instead of 5/5 because every single GPU right now is dumpster trash in terms of value for money, but this one is a little bit less dumpster trash in value for money than the rest of them so therefore it's 4/5. It tripled my FPS in Forza Horizon 5 from my homeless setup Nvidia 1030 GPU from 20 on the lowest settings to 55-60 FPS on high settings, and now I actually want to play video games with it because my eyes aren't offended by them anymore - highly recommended if you earn less than $60,000 a year but still don't want your eyes to be offended by bad video game graphics and prepubescent numbers of FPS. It's as easy to install as carefully throwing it at your motherboard and letting the GeForce Experience app implant your PC with the highest educated and most attractive donor drivers so that your 1660 can grow up to be a valuable and respected member of your PC setup.

Review: The card was easy to install and is much more power efficient than my old GTX660. I do have an issue with the performance in that during 2D applications such as YouTube videos or general web browsing, there is noticeable screen tearing (even with VSync on/off/alt etc) - this doesn't seem to be an issue during 3d games suggesting possible driver problems? Based on this, I'm slightly disappointed in the performance as the tearing issue was not evident with the older GTX660 card. Using Premiere Pro and After Effects, the card doesn't give a noticeable improvement in processing times and the GPU usage remains at a similar level to that of the GTX660 - so for video processing the card gave no improvement that I noticed. I think I'd buy the card again, but only as a major upgrade from a much older piece of hardware. The GTX660 is not overwhelmed by its performance and as such I would not consider this as an upgrade to anything newer than the GTX660.
