Review: I needed a monitor that could serve as my daily driver for web browsing, office and software development needs by day, yet still pack a solid punch for gaming during my evenings and weekends, and this monitor does not disappoint. Sure, there are other more specialist monitors designed around very specialist tasks such as graphic design or ultra-high end gaming, but equally they are quite specialist to those uses and they are usually incredibly expensive - whereas the Gigabyte M32U strikes a great balance in what it offers whilst also still being a very premium monitor at a very reasonable price for its class. In my specific case, the Monitor arrived a mere 17 hours after I ordered it (first thing the next day, kudos to Amazon Prime delivery), arrived in good working order and has zero dead pixels. I can detect no issues with the display at all, and everything is just as its supposed to be, as per the spec. There are many reviews online of the specification and comparisons with similar monitors in its class, so go ahead and use your search engine of choice to find those. In terms of my real world experience, this is a truly great monitor. I've played hours of games, done days of work (email, spreadsheets, some coding), browsed the web and watched a few videos in 4K and its all round a lovely experience. I upgraded from an AOC 27" 1440p 60Hz device which was solid but not specifically gaming focussed - it did a decent job but I needed more screen real-estate. I also used a Dell 27" 4K screen for a while too, also not a gaming focussed device - while the screen real-estate was better pixel wise, I wanted a bigger footprint, plus the Dell was awful for gaming (terrible ghosting). The Gigabyte M32U has successfully satisfied my needs in all these areas, plus the KVM button is also surprisingly functional hand has made connecting my work laptop and switching inputs a breeze. My only bits of feedback/criticism is that there was no USB-C to USB-C DP cable included, and the Display Port cable included is unfortunately just a little to short for my personal needs (its about 1m and I need about 1.2-1.5m) - both of course easily fixed by buying the right cables separately! All in all I'm very very happy with my purchase.
