Review: First I'd like to say, I purchased the Gigabyte M32Q after watching Hardware Unboxed on YouTube and their videos "Ranking all 31 Monitors we reviewed in 2021" and subsequently "Gigabyte M32Q Review, Great Value Monitor for 32-inch 1440p Gaming" ..and it is exactly that - a great monitor for great value. I always use a variety of sources for reviews on hardware and I was pleasantly surprised to really see that no website I use had any real dislike towards the monitor. I believe the HDR aspect of this monitor is slightly lacking (purely from a review perspective) but it doesn't concern me in the slightest - I didn't buy it for that, and I don't need it, so that essentially eliminates that worry from my mind. What you'll find is a superb, crisp IPS 31.5" display that, with a bit of calibrating, can look even better then on default settings. Combine that with a 1440p display and 170hz, this is a fantastic purchase. I was also surprised to see it had speakers built-in, again not necessary but a nice feature to have added. I could talk about the OSD Sidekick or the KVM aspect which again, wonderful features and I am sure that it interests many people, especially this being (from memory) the first gaming KVM monitor, they are excellent additions but not really something I was prioritising. For me - the priority was finding a 32", 144hz+, 1440p screen. I feel this is comfortably the best I have seen, and the best available - not to mention the price is half of what you'd commonly find other 32" monitors within the same category. I've had about 15 hours of game time since purchase and.. wow, I just feel in awe. Before purchasing, I had viewed an Odyssey G7 - and as immersive as I'd found it for gaming (the wild curve) browser work really killed the feel for me, it just didn't feel right, maybe this is down to me being finnicky but for me it was too noticeable to be okay with (curve too aggressive). This ultimately led me to try and find a flat panel and as described above - led me to the two videos I mentioned. I do also play competitive shooters - I sit 90cm away from my screen and I feel this is a perfect place to be - no need to be moving my head around to see the sides of my screen, and I can now spot pesky enemy activity without permanently frowning at my 2x 24" S2417DG Monitors. For those wondering what my calibration settings are, I tweaked it so that; Picture ----> Standard Gaming ---> Overdrive ----> 55 Contrast ----> 48 Gamma ----> 2.2 Colour temp ----> Custom: 100, 98, 96 Overclock ----> On An absolutely essential purchase that I'd recommend to all wanting an upgrade to a 32" gaming experience. I had no idea that Gigabyte did monitors - but I'm so glad I do now.

Review: The complaint about backlight bleed and dead pixels is common amongst this model and justified. I have had to buy several monitors to get one without dead pixels and without severe backlight bleed. Looks like it's a quality control issue. I know getting a backlight bleed free monitor isn't an easy task when buying an IPS screen but at this price point I would have hoped for better quality control. I would suggest if you do buy one of these, you run a quick backlight bleed and dead pixel test (videos for these are on youtube). The gaming performance for these monitors are great, high FPS games look great with no blurring or tearing. I would suggest not downloading the monitors software. All it allows you to do is adjust the monitor on your PC via a USB cable instead of using the onscreen controls. I found this software very buggy, and if you have more than one monitor plugged in the software wont work. With regards to dead / stuck pixels, I have noticed a few of the monitors I have ordered had dead pixels in the corners that were bright green. The included stand is pretty good, very adjustable and keeps the monitor stable Not sure if this an issue for some, but worth pointing out, this uses a external power supply / brick and not the usually kettle lead like other monitors. Overall a very good monitor, however the backlight bleed issue is an area of concern so make sure you check the monitor and return it if the backlight bleed is severe and also check for dead pixels, especially in the corners
