Review: I usually do not write reviews but made an exception this time. This shaver is brilliant, especially in giving as close a shave as possible compared to a conventional razor. It struggles a bit with longer hairs but then that is not supposed to be its main purpose. For an average growing beard, I will use a conventional razor if you have not shaved for more than a week but otherwise this one is good for even a few days stubble. It is quite ergonomic and the head can move is various directions to enable reach all the odd angles and corners. The cleaning unit works like a dream even though it can be a bit noisy. I usually put it to clean and recharge every couple of days but I guess it can be done once a week. I went for a 2 week long holiday and the shaver did not need recharging during the whole period and I just washed it under warm tap water after every shave This shaver is highly recommended by me

Review: I decided to give the Panasonic a go. I have had Phillips and Braun shavers over many years so this was a change of direction. I had read various reviews, which offer little in real terms when it comes to things with so many dependencies but felt it was worth a punt. It arrived and first impressions were ok, not quite as nicely built as the Phillips and Brauns, but good enough. The charing unit comes with 2 pin plug (for bathrooms) which is a touch annoying, but again not a show stopper. First shave was great, I mean a step on from my daily Phillips shaver but since then it has got worse and worse. I have of course cleaned and treated it (brushing and cleaning process) but I now find myself going back the Phillips as the Panasonic is not cutting it (see what I did there). Disappointed actually, hoped it would be my new 'daily' shaver but right now, with missing large swathes of hairs I can see it being an ornament.
