Review: I use this paper for excellent reproductions of illustration work. It's brightness enhances the colour reproduction. It has texture but isn't too rough.It can be used directly as watercolour paper on one side, whilst the 'wrong' side produces interesting effects as the ink/watercolour doesn't spread. Well worth it.

Review: Having produced my limited edition prints on Permajet's superb range of embossed art papers for some time , I thought I should try Epson's equivalent and remain loyal to my printer's brand name. My Stylus Photo 1400 is the best inkjet printer you will buy. Epson's watercolour paper however is NOT the best "watercolour" paper you will buy. I mistakenly printed my first trials on the wrong side of the paper as this is carries a nice texture. They came out obviously blurry and drab, so I phoned the helpline to complain, only to find out I should turn the paper over and use the SMOOTH side! Isn't watercolour paper meant to be textured? Having wasted several expensive sheets I am now in possession of a pack of paper that is of no use to me and Epson are not interested in refunding me or offering me any alternative. Whilst Permajet can offer something much better at a competitive price, Epson must take a look at this product and relaunch it with more texture.
