Review: New Epson WF-4720 rejected these "Genuine Epson" cartridges. I did not replace them all at once as there was no need. However, after each initialization, the previously replaced cartridges displayed 25% less ink. Each further initialization seemed to reduce installed cartridges by a further 25%, so after installing all four cartridges, the first showed as empty. The printer then refused all further prints. I tried some "fixes" suggested online but nothing worked. Contacted Epson who told me that these cartridges were truly genuine Epson should work. By then, I had returned all four and have ordered direct from Epson - more expensive but hopefully more reliable. The cartridges bought from Amazon might work if you install all four at the same time and initialize only once, but why would you do that if some of them still hold plenty of ink? Puzzling. EDIT - four months later, Epson have at last agreed, after countless emails and more vanishing inks, that this is a printer fault. They replaced my new printer with a reconditioned one showing 10,000 previous copies and no ink cartridges! Another complaint and I have a full set of inks and a working printer, I hope. Time will tell. My advice is to keep all order forms, receipts, usage data, photos and evidence as possible. You never know when you'll need it. And don't give up. Corporations will use delay tactics to see out the warranty, but if you're right, you're right, you just have to prove it.
