Description: EK-Quantum Velocity D-RGB - AMD Ryzen Edition is the new special edition premium quality CPU water block for AMD Ryzen processors. It features a special design that focuses flow over the Ryzen chiplets improving cooling over the cores. This AM4 specific water block is an evolution of the Velocity series CPU water blocks that embed the 5th generation of the award-winning EK CPU water block cooling engine. The cooling Engine on the AM4 Ryzen Specific CPU Water Block Internally the jet plate is extended so that the entire surface area of the fins is used effectively, ensuring that all of the IHS is cooled surrounding the spread-out chiplets. Flow is focused over the chiplet section of the IHS unlike the even spread on the regular Velocity cooling engine. Low hydraulic flow restriction enables this product to be used in setups using weaker water pumps or lower pump speeds for added silent operation, while still achieving top performance! To accommodate that, the ports are now symmetrical with a wider spacing. The purest nickel-plated copper available on the market is used for the EK-Quantum Velocity cold plate which is precisely machined to a dense micro-fin structure. The contact surface itself is machine polished for better contact with the CPU IHS. The top is made of CNC machined high-quality black POM Acetal. This special edition AM4 water block is equipped with a solid aluminum mounting plate that perfectly aligns with the acetal top and follows the industrial look. It features a hard stop precise mount that is different from the standard EK-Quantum Velocity mounting mechanism. The mounting screws are streamlined and are even smaller than before for an added aesthetical perfection. The water block also comes with a sophisticated D-RGB lightning implementation. A total of 24 LE Ds are housed under the acetal top and diffused by a white acetal cover to create a subtle underglow. This product is compatible with all popular D-RGB sync technologies from all major motherboard manufacturers. The arrow marking on the 3-pin LED connector is to be aligned with the +5V marking on the D-RGB header.
