Review: I decided to purchase this 140mm radiator to extend my existing first water loop, which already had an EK CE 280 radiator in place. Prior to my purchase I was a little concerned because my fans had to be set to quite a high RPM to keep my loop cool and were actually far too loud. Anything less and my water temps were getting too high for comfort..Totally an error on my part underestimating how much radiator space I needed to cool my components! However, since adding this radiator to my loop with another EK Varder FF3-140ER fan the temps have dropped by several degrees and I can run my fans at almost a silent level now, even under load. My delta T is now between 8 - 12 degrees which I'm really happy with. It's best practice to to flush out new radiators before adding them to your loop and that was definitely the case with this one as the water came out fairly cloudy and there were several little black flakes and other contaminants in there! It needed filling and emptying a few times before it was clean. I know that EK aren't necessarily the best radiators out there, but as this is my first loop and I already have some EK parts I decided to stick with them for this build until I have more confidence and understanding about custom loops. For now, I'm very impressed so far.
