Review: Simple to assemble and operate and looks good. Very quiet, especially on the lower settings (1 - 4). I'd been hoping for a fan I could use in the bedroom and this is the only fan I've been able get to sleep while using. On hot nights I switch it on when enjoying my bedtime reading then use the remote control to set it to 15 minutes snooze time at lights out. I'm normally asleep by the time it switches off. A simple but nice feature is that you can store the remote by simply popping it on top of the fan where it is securely held by a magnet thus making it more difficult to lose. A trivial feature perhaps, but I think it demonstrates the thought that has gone into the design of the whole. My only criticism concerns its portability. If you wish to move the fan, you are instructed not to lift it by the fan column but only by the base of the unit. This makes it a little awkward - not that it's by any means too heavy, but carrying a unit that tall by the extreme base creates a feeling of less than ideal stability.
