Review: Had this kettle for 8 months & had been very pleased with it up to now. However, the on/off control has started failing to the point that it will not switch on at times. The temp control lights up but the switch audibly clicks off when the button is pressed. If the button is pressed repeatedly it sometimes works. Bizarrely, if you leave it alone for 5 mins then try again it works! Amazon have said that, as the kettle is outside their return window I will have to contact Cuisinart to get it replaced. Anyone else had this problem? TIA for any advice.

Review: Les than 12 month old and stopprd working...Sometimes it works when you turn it on other times you have to lift it from the base and reposition it before it will boil... but the light is on on the display so not a lose connection
