Review: I measured my unit four times before ordering this fan to replace one which was so noisy it made me not want to use my computer, but even then I was shocked when it turned up and was gigantic! Took a lot of gentle care to get it fitted in (it was a seriously tight fit!) but now it hums like a distant wind, barely making any noise at all and keeping my eight cores at the right temperature without breaking sweat. Yes, water-cooled ones might be, well, coool, but this unit does an incredible job for a fraction of the price.

Review: I installed this to replace my water cooling unit when the pump failed, I had to remove the motherboard to install it and it does need a large case, but it keeps my i7-3770K (3.5 ghz) at 32 deg when idle and just over 40 deg when gaming. which is only marginally worse than the water cooling setup I had. The case is on the floor under my desk and I don't notice any noise issues. Overall, I was well impressed.
