Review: The lighting effects look really nice. The cooling plate comes with pre applied thermal paste but it’s a very thin layer and I found it easier to just clean off and use your own, so you can remount it if you don’t get a good contact first time. The braided hoses are high quality and the radiator is a solid unit which is easy enough to mount either in the front of the case or as I did on the top. The fans are really quiet and can be configured in multiple push/pull configurations depending on your airflow requirements. The software is easy to install and will tell you various information, like cpu temp, coolant temp and fan speeds, as well as various lighting effects. I have a mid range Corsair case with clear side panel and it looks really nice. I got a 30oC drop in cpu temp from the Ryzen 5 stock cooler that came with my board. It’s turned my PC from hot, loud and unclockable, to cool, quiet and much higher clock rates than I could get previously. Bravo Corsair ????

Review: Easy to install and setup. Only issues were figuring out which way to mount the fans, a direction indicator on the fans would be helpful (although the internet tells me they often have a hard to see molded arrow mine didn't and I had to go with black shape to figure it out) The usb connector on the block could be easier to reach, if your motherboard, like mine has a lot of shroudibg around the cpu socket the clearance between the USB and the mothboard can be very very tight. In operation it is a dream. Works well for me on both windows and Linux. I use the windows app to set the fan speed thresholds and these apply regardless of the OS you boot into. But if you are purely installing Linux you might want to consider dual booting for the icue app. That said, the default values are probably perfect anyway.
