Review: After having problems with non-Brother toner I've switched to using Brother cartridges only. BUT - they are horribly expensive, unless you ignore your printer's demands for a new cartridge. and instead reset the cartridge status yourself. I have found I can do this twice for some cartridges before the print density fades too much. To find out how to do this reset, search the internet for "Brother reset toner". The whole process takes a couple of minutes and only involves pressing a few buttons.
