Review: I bought this to replace an underpowered Xaomi Wowstick, which suffered catastrophic gearbox failure! This Bosch unit certainly isn't underpowered.. First thing to note, it uses a brushed motor, a fact that's made abundantly clear everytime you use it due to the delicious smell of carbon. These will need replacing at some point so this is not a maintenence free item. Battery life seems very good to me, the provided bits are fine, the case is nice. Regarding performance, this thing is strong, perhaps too strong for its size. It can exert wrist snapping torque and there is no "ramp up" in the way it delivers power, it's everything or nothing. This is compounded by the relatively small grip area and the awkward way in which you hold the device. It has a little wheel on the back so you can adjust the torque, shame we can't adjust the pushdrive actuation force.. So, the the pushdrive mechanism.. It requires quite a lot of force to activate. By quite a lot I mean, FAR TOO MUCH. This is the main issue I have with the device. To actually get it going you have to push down hard, fine if you're working with wood or metal but not so great for plastics and useless for delicate items like electronics. It also makes removing screws quite difficult, you're trying to back them out lightly but to do so you have to press forward with great force, this is going to strip threads in anything other than metal. I'd much prefer a traditional button over this nonsense system. All in all, it's a good tool but its use is severely limited by the heavy pushdrive mechanism.
