Review: To be fair, I haven't actually used it yet (only arrrived yesterday) but it seems much less powerful than I would have expected because, using exactly the same All for one 18V 2.5Ah battery used on my Bosch AHS 50-20 hedgecutter, the hedgecutter blade attachment does not reciprocate as quickly or as "powerfully" as I would have expected. Thus I think it does not have a sufficiently powerful motor - and similar comments have already been made by other purchasers! I am minded to return it for that reason IF I can find something simllar but more powerful - but I'll give it a try-out on my hedge before making a decision! Edited 2 days after my original review: Having now been able to try it out on the new young growth on our privet hedge, that has confirmed that it's not anywhere near as powerful as I would want - Yes, it does cut that growth but not anything thicker! Not only that but the 2-button mechanism (1 button to switch it on and then the trigger pull to actually start the blades moving) is faulty because the blades only start moving about 1 time in 3 or 4 pulls on the trigger! - therefore this particular unit is definitely faulty and will soon be returned on that basis! (NB: I will label the box to that effect to try to ensure that it does'nt get sent out to any other poor customer!) Edited several days after the above initial reviews: I have now returned the tool to Amazon because, whilst I finally figured out how to get it running properly (i.e. press & hold the red button on the handle very firmly, and THEN pull the trigger up), I was extremely "underwhelmed" by the cutting blade speed and power as compared with the Parkside PGSA 12 A1 and Walensee (effectively a "never heard of it before" brand, at least in the UK) "7.2V 2-in-1 Cordless Grass Shear & Hedge Trimmer" that I bought from Amazon at the same time. Both cut faster & better than this Bosch tool and seem a better bet whilst the combined cost was lno more than the Bosch - OK, the Walensee is effectively a "use it till it fails and then dump it" unit, but I can get spare batteries from Lidl and spare blades from Grizzly's UK agent) for the Parkside. Therefore I've reduced my rating for the Bosch to 2 stars as it really isn't worth the price on a price/performance basis!
