Review: Purchased Hotpoint BI WMHG 91484 but there are many models with the 91484 number, they are all the same just slight different logo or trim. Just find the one on offer at time as there is no point paying for the "brand" of the moment. Very quiet washing machine with lots of program options. Simple to install yourself....just make sure you undo the 4 shipping bolts and the 4 plastic plugs that the bolts went in to. Stick the over flow waste hose in to your existing water waste pipe, plug it and and your ready to go. No need to pay £100 installation.

Review: The customer service is shockingly bad. The seller provides a leaflet with the product which tells you to call an 0800 number for a free, parts only guarantee. When you call the number, however, instead of registering you for the FREE guarantee they (VERY AGGRESSIVELY!) try to sell you extra insurance for the product. It took us several attempts to persuade the agent that we just want the free parts warranty. Also, their leaflet (see photo) says that you should receive an authorisation code after registering for the "free" guarantee, however, the agent does not want to provide any such code, saying that they do not provide this number anymore, but should anything happen in the future they say your home address will suffice. They do not want to confirm via email that the registration was done so as a customer you have absolutely no evidence that you have actually registered the product for the guarantee and should your product indeed break down they can always say you have not registered for the guarantee. Not a very customer friendly process at all! When I asked to speak to someone at the company about this guarantee registration process the agent (who tries to sell you the extra insurance) switched me to a "helpline". The man on the helpline was very unfriendly and when I said I wanted to complain about the guarantee registration process he asked me about my name. When I gave him my name he said "you failed the security check". I asked if that is because my wife registered the account under her name and if I can provide her name / put her on the phone instead the man rudely refused to continue the conversation and just hang up! What a company! I think you would do well avoiding them altogether!
