Review: It is getting increasingly harder to find straighteners that heat up beyond 230c. So happy I found this which heats up to 235c - got one for myself and one for my mom and we both LOVE it. Does a great job, smooth to use and the long cable adds to the convenience. Would definitely recommend.

Review: I previously had a set of BaByliss Pro Straight 220 which were excellent, but these were lost a few years back (and had a few years curly), so wanted some more BaByliss. I bought a cheap pair of Remingtons, whilst I researched which ones I wanted, and got these as they seemed like a good choice with good features. Unlike some people, I couldn’t hear any buzzing at all, thought maybe that problems been sorted, however, I had to have them at the hottest temp to even make a dent in my hair. I actually did half my head with these, and half with the cheap Remingtons. The BaByliss lost miserably, too too long to do, and didn’t last. Hair got frizzy half way through the day. They were that bad I think there must have been something wrong with them. Sent back for refund. Very disappointed. Contacted my hairdresser and bought some Barnum Magnesium straighteners, as these are apparently as good as GHD’s but a fraction of the price. Tried as soon as I got them home, sooo much better.
