Review: Not sure how they can advertise this as Gen 2 USB 3.2 with the actual throughput speeds. Doesn't even get close to 1 gb throughput. YES it shows its a 2.5gb adapter. But that is not the same as how much data it can actually transmit. Clearly the USB portion of the adapter is not able to keep pace with 2.5gb when it should do so without breaking a sweat. USB 3.2 Gen 2 shouldn't blink an eye at 2.5gbs. Tried it on various Gen 2 USB ports too. The Sabrent 5gb adapter which is Marvel chipset based handles the data flow at very high speed. These Realtek based adapters are not up to snuff. Don't care which company is selling them.
