Review: So some back ground, having just upgraded to the hyperoptic 150mb and not wanting to it connecting via wired. So the 1st option i've tried is the Bt extender flex, which is some what outdated but was the most stable for me, it gave me 27mb out of 150mb (pic 1), so performance wise this was pretty bad but was the most stable. I've also tried the BT dongle 600, whilst this matched the AC88 in terms of speed, was getting around 160mb, this was unstable. Everything i started to play Overwatch, i would instantly disconnect for some reason (pic 2). I did buy the Gigabye GC-WB1733D-I, but for some reason this would not work on my pc, it would say drivers not updated, even though i just downloaded the latest drivers from their website, so this was returned. So finally i decided to buy the Asus AC88, purely from reviews etc this was some what more expensive than all similar products. The installation was relatively simple, just plugged it the pci e slot, screwed the antennas on, went on Asus website and downloaded the latest drivers, restarted pc and the card was recognized. In terms of performance, getting the max mb that im suppose to get which is 150mb, though i have just noticed a drop in speed to 10gb not sure the reason for this. My other alternative if this did not work was the Asus 90IG0230 AC1900 Dual Band USB Wi-Fi Adapter.
