Description: Optimised for Static Pressure During the development of the new P12 special emphasis was placed on a focused airstream and thus a high staticpressure. The fan guarantees extremely efficient cooling even with increased air resistance. Therefore the P12 is particularly suitable for use on heatsinks and radiators. High Quality Bearing Thanks to an alloy/lubricant combination developed in Germany friction within the bearing is reduced and greater efficiency is achieved. As a result there is less heat development as well as less bearing noise which means you can enjoy a longer service life from your fan. Two Way Installation. Review: Well, I am going to go against the grain on this one. The good : the fans are super quiet, generate a lot of ventilation, easy to install (as all PC case fans are). The VERY bad : the fan blades are flush with the edges of the fan, barely recessed by half a mm (yes, half a millimeter). The problem with that is that if you decide to go for 2 fans in your PC, with both facing the same direction (so the airflow is in from one and out from the second fan), that means that one of the fans will have the naked blades side flush with the internal wall of your PC case. What's the problem with that ? Well, every time you move your PC the blades hit the casing because they are too flush with the edges of the fan. It's an absolute nightmare. In the end I had to change to upHere fans where the blades are a full 1.5mm recessed from the edge of the fan, so no chance of the blades hitting the wall of the PC case.
