Review: I have used this dock with a Macbook Air M1, a Dell Latitude 7520, and an Assus Vivobook. It works pretty easily with both Windows 10 computers I have tested it with. No driver or software installs were needed, and it runs the 4k display, webcam, keyboard and mouse that I have plugged in as expected. The only thing to note is that it does not charge the Asus Vivobook but I believe that is an issue with the computer and not the dock. However, I do not like how it works with my M1 Mac running Big Sur. It is NOT plug and play, and requires the install of display link software. In addition, you have to grant this software screen recording permissions, which raises major security concerns with me. Also, I cannot seem to get the 4k monitor to run above 1920x1080 in Mac OS, even though the same hardware setup runs just fine at 4k on my Windows computers. The company website is not extremely clear or helpful in the setup of this dock with Mac OS either, and it took me quite some time to even find the right software to make it work. I have a different thunderbolt dock that works effortlessly with my Mac that I definitely prefer to use with that computer. Overall, I would recommend this dock on a computer running Windows 10, but not Mac OS 11.
