Review: We have had this watch for a couple of months now. My eldest child who is 12 was a little to old for this as he has a phone for high school. My youngest who is 4 absolutely loves it. He enjoys taking photos and with my help messaging his older brother. It will be perfect for when he gets older and becomes more independent. It was really easy and simple to set up. My son loves the step tracker and is eager to check how many he has done. The torch also gets used alot when he plays hide and seek :-) All in all its a fab watch and gets a lot of use.

Review: Bought this for our 10yo son’s birthday. It is quite big for his wrist (he is average size), yet it is made for small fingers as I kept tapping the wrong thing. The bad things: - It arrived with a screwdriver that hadn’t actually been finished so we couldn’t get into the SIM card part at first. - The “free” SIM card it comes with requires a paid subscription for £7.99pm. - The location tracker never seems to work and tells me “no location data for 72 hours”. - The text message function is only set up with specific texts - hello; I love you; I’ve arrived etc. - Furthermore, they are not actually text messages - they only go to the app - so if you don’t have the app, you can’t receive (or send) any messages. I have so far programmed in the numbers for myself (mum), dad, grandparents, godparents and 2 friends - none of those people, other than my husband and me, have the app - or indeed would remember to check the app. - No option to connect to WiFi call so can only make a call using phone minutes. Overall, it doesn’t do a lot and actually doesn’t do what we wanted it for (GPS location tracker and messaging us and friends). The good things: - My son likes to record voice and video messages (which he can only send to me as I’m the only one with the app set up). - It tells the time and date. - I like the fact that it has a “school mode”. Very disappointed.
