Review: This came up on the Amazon search for the 8th gen iPad, and although it is a 10.2” iPad case, it really is only for the Pro version not the standard 8th gen iPad. The case can be made to fit, but is very tight and care is needed to not break the screen of the iPad while inserting it. The iPad Pro goes in easily and nicely. 8th gen are thicker, and can cause some issues. Also the 8th gen headphone jack port is higher up, so if this case IS used for an 8th gen and not a Pro, then you need to cut a portion of the side out so you can get to the headphone jack. Sturdy case though, and it’s gives lots of protection. Just wish there was a little more info on what versions these actually fit properly before people buy them
