Review: After an absolute mong almost wiped me out on the A40 some months back I got home and researched the best reviewed dashcams money can buy. I usually wouldn't spend this kind of money on myself but let's face it - there are dangerous drivers everywhere, people without insurance, and accidents happen all the time. I feel so much better knowing if something happened, it would all be recorded and I'd be covered - otherwise it's your word against theirs and you'll get nowhere. When you consider the cost of car insurance these days, and how much you could lose from a hit and run driver - spending on something like this is worth it and everywhere I looked this brand came reviewed top. The only downside is that due to what this is worth I keep taking it indoors whenever I park up which is a nuisance but better that then coming back to a smashed window and no dashcam. It's also magnetic and easy to remove unlike cheap clips that break after a while.

Review: Bought this camera and while trying inside the house all worked perfectly fine after a while I noticed, that GPS is not working. Tried googling the issue and some people had a similar issue. The Nextbase customer support team suggested they try it outside of the car and if that was not working, they sent them another GPS mount or changed camera unit which resolved the issue. In my case I contacted Nexbase, and they suggested me the same thing - to try it outside of the car, but since I replied it is not working they stopped communicating so I ended up with the camera with GPS not working. I don't want to return it as I already did hard wire installation for the front and rear cameras. The cameras themselves are very good, but customer service is very poor.
