Review: Have to admit that the purchase was driver by gear envy, I already have two pointers so this was definitely a want and not a need. Where this pointer comes into its own is in opening up tools other than PowerPoint for presentation purposes. For me this specifically means xMind. As for ease of use, my 8 year old granddaughter likes playing with my pointers and she mastered this one in about 30 seconds and then had fun for a while playing with it using the three modes as an aid to reading. Connectivity is straight forward, connects to my main laptop using the supplied connector and my Surface with BlueTooth. Its not the cheapest but if you do get one of these you will not regret it.

Review: I was really excited about this, yes I know I’m sad, but the excitement was short lived. Firstly, it looks and feels premium quality. Apple like in its weight and feel, but the software let it down on Apple OS. I tried it on a up to date MacBook Pro & iMac, with Bluetooth and usb dongle, and it was just glitchy. The spotlight was ok, the laser dot effect was ok, but using the magnifier, the main appeal to me, started it lagging, then it would loose connection, and just become unusable. I returned it, and ordered a cheaper Norwii one for a third of the price which has a physical laser as well as more options like drawing on screen etc. It has the spotlight and magnification features that work flawlessly, however it does feel cheap in comparison. But cheap and working is better than expensive and not working.
