Review: My little one loves it. Very entertaining. I’m happy that it doesn’t have unnecessary games on it. We avoid video games of all sorts in our house. There two issues only. It can be very annoying for little hands that struggle following lines. It doesn’t let the child to have the satisfaction of finishing the letter unless properly written. Good on one hand but very frustrating on the other. I struggle sometimes myself. The second issue is that the spelling words are very limited. My little one is reception already but struggles with fine motor skills and writing is a challenge. He’s happy writing the letters but the spelling words are under his abilities. For a younger child might be a better fit. The screen is a bit pale and small as well but doable.

Review: The unit itself is easy to use and has already got my daughters attention to sit and use it, however she seems more interested in drawing than learning so will have to monitor that for full benefit. The packaging however was rubbish, wrapped in Amazon brown paper that gave no real protection and was even torn on delivery. The batteries included in the unit were also flat as a pancake and had to be changed straight away. Good from leap frog, poor from amazon.
