Review: My mother has had the Kenwood Chef since she got married in 1971 and I wasn't sure about going for the cheaper model, but this has been fantastic. I personally can't tell the difference from the Chef, but then I don't bake everyday. The food processor attachment has been particularly useful...and I hadn't even realised I needed it! It is sometimes a bit glitchy to attach the attachments but they work well when they do click in place!!

Review: Waited years to be able to treat myself to a Kenwood mixer and was very disappointed with this one. looks are stylish and size is compact in a small kitchen.on this model there is a catch on the side of the mixer that allows the whole top of the machine to flip up. when using the mixer there is so much movement in the top of the mixer it seems as if its going to work loose. (I've just noticed a short video on the 1 star reviews on here that shows exactly what I mean. please view before you buy!) Just mixing light cakes is ok but the machine seems to labour heavily for fruit cakes. Mixing bread dough is useless it seems to put so much strain on the mixer Im scared it will break the machine. The food processor attachment is ok but limited to slicing & grating attachments. I haven't used the juice attachment, but the grinder also seems to put a lot of strain on the machine. Despite doing research and reviews saying it was a good machine, I wouldn't recommend it. I think there are similar products out there that would be just as good if not better without the hefty price tag for the Kenwood name.
