Review: Bought this to replace same - previous had smaller load but was same machine - lasted 6 years - only because I did not level it up when I installed it - live and learn - drum bearing eventually gave out. Love the machine - so easy to use - blue button works for me every time - cant recommend it enough - I've installed it level this time. Happy days.

Review: I visited several shops and did lots of research on line to find a A+++ energy efficient washing machine. Found the Indesit 1600 which was advertised as an A+++ rating , liked the price and ordered it. My husband installed it and then when I removed the paperwork from the drum it said it was a D-rating! I contacted the supplier and was told that the ratings had been recalibrated and that the A+++ was now a B-rating, although my paperwork clearly said my machine was a D-rating! The minimum wash cycle is 30 minutes (too long for clothes that aren't dirty but just need freshening up). Also, the 30 minute cycle only spins at 600 rpm so clothes come out quite wet still, necessitating a further 10 minute spin cycle at 1600rpm for the clothes to be adequately dry. The other washing cycles are also ridiculously long! This is not the A+++ energy efficient washing machine I believed I was buying. I'm not at all happy!
