Review: After months of searching for a device that will let me watch all my streaming services in one place (except Netflix as I don't use that and isn't available on this device) I found it. We don't subscribe to Sky TV and are just ditching BT Youview as we only ever watch freeview and streaming services. First two noticeable differences are the picture quality and sound improvement through my Dolby Atmos soundbar, both are fantastic. Set up is simple, navigating the menus is easy enough, but the real bonus for me was being able to connect to the play store. I've installed Roxi for music and Kodi so I can explore all the positives of that platform. My only minor gripe is the remote, it's ok but the navigation arrows often get misclicked as something else and in the day and age of entering information through this type of device, a physical keyboard on the back of the remote would be nice (I have seen these with some services). Apart from that niggle this is absolutely perfect.

Review: Works very well apart from when pause and go to Netflix unpaused. Don’t know if that's because used tv remote to go to Netflix as has Netflix button on it unlike this remote which only has an Amazon prime button. The layout was easier on my virgin cable as had a my shows button so didn’t have to go to recording via the home page which annoying. Lots of space though as my virgin box only had 1tb which isn’t enough to record shows in hd which this freeview box has. Had to leave virgin though as wanted too much money-so now just use apps like now and Netflix instead to supplement freeview content. Being able to pause live tv worth it though of want to grab a cup of tea. Much more responsive than Manhattan box which got sent by mistake first. Easy to set up and Picture quality seems better than just using freeview on tv. Haven’t used google voice assist though as don’t like idea of Google spying on me.
