Review: Bought for elderly parents getting plagued with unwanted callers. It can take a while to add in all authorised contacts but worth it for peace of mind. Caller display helps to show caller details. Great little feature extending amount of rings before answering machine activates as allows parents time to get to phone. Neat handsets and rechargeable batteries included. Like the caller alert eg GP practice nurses called and as long caller clearly states who it is, parents then get option to accept call or not. Quick dispatch after order.

Review: These were bought to replace a long-lived predecessor BT set which, sadly, allowed no access to the rechargeable batteries which had lost their ability to retain charge. The set bought offered the best like-for-like fit in terms of features and functionality but the predecessors were aesthetically more pleasing. The 100% call blocking of incoming numbers not entered in the Phone Book was important and the feature is fully effective - nuisance calls remain a thing of the past. But on the downside the main base unit (effectively the "Answerphone") is very flimsy and, with a handset in place, is top heavy and unstable. The slightest knock will see it topple. But at least the batteries in the handsets can be easily accessed and replaced with new if needed. The setting-up process was easy but sadly there was no way of transferring the Phone Book entries from the old kit to the new. Not a major issue but irksome. As with many replacement purchases you notice the loss of build quality and poorer design but overall I think what I got was fine for the money paid.
