Review: This has been one of the single most used purchases I have made in recent years. I am in that typical household with growing children and the space I have for my larger setup to play CD's has vanished. It's got pushed up a corner, stopping me using it leaving me reliant on headphones and my phone. And sulking. I wanted a solution that let me listen to ambient music again in a room, streaming over BT from my phone mostly, and was loud enough to be heard over a 10w guitar amp. Additional flexibility with wireless play, other connection ports and multi room were added bonuses. It has proved itself very capable keeping up with the volume of the guitar (unless at unbearable levels) and without any loss of clarity or flabbiness in playback. So it scores 100% for that alone. Playback quality is also good enough to be able to distinguish between lower quality MP3's and Hi-res audio sources when at sufficient volume, something other Hi-res labelled speakers were not capable of when I tried them. Tapping into the network play features and also the pre-amp function with the red/white L&R connectors, I have something that is an excellent replacement for the larger CD playback equipment I gave up on last year. With multi room speaker functions to rival Sonos (the Audio Pro app isn't QUITE as slick as Sonos) and better playback quality too, I recommend this as a really good all rounder. Something Sonos speakers are not with their more singular focus on the primary function of wi-fi multi-room audio over those of flexibility and outright sound quality. Sure, if you are looking for some sort of solution to CD play back you are going to have to go through the steps of ripping to a computer and moving the files to a playback device, but for me it isn't a huge imposition as I routinely do that. But you can also use the red/white connectors to directly amplify a CD player (but at more limited volume than a larger amp obviously). So it works well for me but you need to consider your needs if you are in a similar situation. However, it has hit the mark for me. It can keep up with my guitar amp at home, has excellent sound quality, is well made, versatile and very well featured. Couple that up to being ultra portable and punching well above it's weight even during a recent party with about 30 people, I cannot recommend it enough. The only let down is a lack of remote, but that really is me reaching to find a negative.

Review: When I first got this I thought I'd bought a gem. Played Queen's It's a Kind of Magic through it and the sound was awesome. I soon changed my mind though when I tried to connect to it with a different device. It's fine if you only want to use with a single device such as a mobile, but if you ever want to link it to your PC or someone else's mobile - forget it. You can only connect to one device at a time, and having done that it's a nightmare trying to unpair it from the previous device and to get another one to find it. I've nearly thrown it out of the door a couple of times. It has 4 pre-set buttons which are next to useless - they're only usable if you download the Audio Pro App, which is rubbish, and they DON'T allow you make connections to other devices which is what I thought they were for. They are only for connecting to Spotify or other paid for streaming stations.
